In this release, we've made a few changes to how messages and topics operate.

There's an improvement to the badge count in Team.biz on the browser, Mac and PC. You'll now be able to see how many messages were sent directly to you by message or @mention. We'll be updating Android and iOS with this new feature in a future release.

You can now start a new public topic directly from the topics panel. Just go to the bottom of the topic list, type a topic name and hit enter.

You can start a new message directly from the messages panel. Just go to the bottom of the messages list and type the name of a team member, or an email address or phone number that you'd like to add as a guest.
